The Best 2019 “Life Hack” For Amazon Shoppers

When it comes to online shopping, I was a late bloomer. I started using Amazon only 3 or 4 years ago, and just became a PRIME member last year.

And I love it. I now buy tons of items online, and even know my UPS driver by name!

But I never knew how much I was overpaying. My kids tried to tell me about these “coupon codes” or “alternate sellers”, but that sounded complicated to me. They also told me Amazon changes prices all the time, but I can’t be bothered to check – I just trust Amazon, and buy.

Then I found Swagbucks, and everything changed.

Swagbucks is a free app that gets added onto a web browser. I never even knew it was there until I went to Amazon the first time after installing it, and I couldn’t believe what happened – there was an “extra” box that showed me a lower price. I saved $36! I was hooked.

How It Works

I’m not very tech-y, but my son told me how it works. Swagbucks automatically searches for online coupon codes and better prices from other Amazon sellers, and alerts you to them. I told my son I still wanted the same “fulfilled by Amazon”, and he said not to worry – I’d always see that.

Better still was the fact that besides Amazon, Swagbucks works at more than 3,000 other online retailers including Walmart, Macys, JC Penney, EBay, and Kohl’s, and saves you money at all of them. I’m in shopping heaven.

Ok, I admit I was a teeny bit skeptical at first. How could this be ok, and FREE as well? But my son said that Swagbucks brings these products more sales, so they actually love it too. Plus, it was written about in TIME, Entrepreneur Magazine, and the Huffington Post.

I may not understand online marketing, but I do understand saving money. I love Swagbucks, and I’ll never shop without it again.
